Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) FC Bora Bora's Ive Colpaert started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A sloppy throw-in by Ivan Navarro in the 4th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by FC Bora Bora's Sorin Chițu. Basarab Baltian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luca Espinar, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Basarab Baltian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Villa in the 7th minute of the match. 9 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Ive Colpaert came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sebastian Villa in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Basarab Baltian prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 12 minutes FC Bora Bora's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Edmundo Espiga who took care of the corner kick. Honduras's Edmundo Espiga was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Basarab Baltian in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmundo Espiga in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Basarab Baltian prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 18 played minutes, Honduras's Edmundo Espiga shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Basarab Baltian came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Honduras reached it. 19 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Ive Colpaert came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Basarab Baltian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Espiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ive Colpaerts short, quick shot in the 26thth minute got Lautaro Navarro to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 28th minute Edmundo Espiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basarab Baltian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmundo Espiga in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Basarab Baltian prevented the ball from getting in the gole. FC Bora Bora's Basarab Baltian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Milagros Cabal in the 38th minute of play. If Edmundo Espiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vlad Zbereanu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lautaro Navarro having to make a save. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edmundo Espiga to make the kick off. In the 59th match minute, FC Bora Bora was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ive Colpaert to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Vintilă Hăulică managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Bora Bora's supporters rose to their feet, but Vintilă Hăulică was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lautaro Navarro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 64th minute, one of Honduras:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Honduras. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edmundo Espiga got free with Basarab Baltian in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Basarab Baltian was out of position in the 83 minute of play, and Edmundo Espiga capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Edmundo Espiga really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. Luca Espinar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Basarab Baltian having to make a save. In the 87th minute Luca Espinar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basarab Baltian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Bora Bora's Basarab Baltian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Villa in the 88th minute of play. If Vlad Zbereanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the FC Bora Bora defense, Sebastian Villa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Basarab Baltian. The FC Bora Bora fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Basarab Baltian should have stopped the shot. Honduras played a much better game than FC Bora Bora and deserved their victory. The FC Bora Bora players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
