Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Adam Cosoreanu's late challenge caught a Venezuela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adam Cosoreanu helped the player get up and apologised. In the 2nd match minute, FC Vlahuță was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adam Cosoreanu to maneuver through the defense. 5 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mihai Rusu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Esa Hagelberg went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 9 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mihai Rusu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 14 minutes into the game, Tomas Illescas recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mihai Rusu. Tomas Illescas showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. When Claudiu Doinaș came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the FC Vlahuță fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Claudiu Doinaș couldn't finish the play. A throw-in in the 30th minute of the game was made by Adam Cosoreanu with Marcelo Trobbiani as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esa Hagelberg in the 30th minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Petru Bute left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Vlahuță fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mihai Rusu having to make a save. The supporters of FC Vlahuță booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adam Cosoreanu kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. After 45 played minutes FC Vlahuță got a freekick which was hit by Eriberto Bidari.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Claudiu Doinaș was the one to do the kick off. In the 58th minute Patricio Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mihai Rusu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudiu Doinaș, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Jonathan Venegas hit a great ball. In the 62nd match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Gaos to maneuver through the defense. Esa Hagelberg hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Salvador Gisbert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to FC Vlahuță getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Marcelo Trobbiani hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Illescas in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mihai Rusu saved FC Vlahuță from getting behind. FC Vlahuță's Claudiu Doinaș got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Esa Hagelberg struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Vlahuță. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Petru Bute, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Vlahuță's Adam Cosoreanu got his second yellow card of the match in the 88th minute. The referee ordered Adam Cosoreanu off the ground. Adam Cosoreanu hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Mihai Rusu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patricio Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudiu Doinaș, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. FC Vlahuță had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
