Chile's Thiago Pliego proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Chile from getting a goal against them. If Bob Bo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carmelo Marz scored 1-0 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Thiago Pliego, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 32nd minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruperto Frances saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, Carmelo Marz notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Chile's Thiago Pliego. Thiago Pliego was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 41st minute, Ricardo Abadia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thiago Pliego made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Carmelo Marz sent off a good shot on target. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carmelo Marz in the 52nd minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Mariano Lacasa took a quick shot and it went in 3-2 without a chance for Ruperto Frances to make any attempt to save it. In the 61st minute, Mariano Lacasa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chile fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. 64 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Santikurtz came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The CRIMINAL MAMBO fans' excitement grew in the 66th match minute when CRIMINAL MAMBO's Carmelo Marz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 70 minutes CRIMINAL MAMBO's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mariano Lacasa who took care of the corner kick. If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 73 minutes into the match, Carmelo Marz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Thiago Pliego. Chile's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carmelo Marz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-3. Ruperto Frances made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 78th minute. Ruperto Frances came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Chile's Mariano Lacasa. But to his dismay, Mariano Lacasa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-4. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind CRIMINAL MAMBO's goalkeeper Ruperto Frances, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Lacasa got free with Ruperto Frances in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Orlando Casaus's late challenge caught a CRIMINAL MAMBO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Orlando Casaus helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Chile getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Orlando Casaus hit a great ball. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Virgilio Hunfredo in the 87th minute of play. After 89 minutes Chile's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Bertil Brodin who took care of the corner kick. Bertil Brodin made a great header on CRIMINAL MAMBO's corner, it was just that Chile's Thiago Pliego managed to reach the ball for a save. Mariano Lacasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
