In the 32nd minute, Lautaro Mancebo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bogdan Lobonț was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. The supporters of Emerald booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luca Zorita didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gabriel Vermeşan got free with Dante Lacasa in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mexico's Facundo Cadaval got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 66 played minutes Emerald got a freekick which was hit by 梅国崇. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor Piţurcă in the 69th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Macos Graciani during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Macos Graciani hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. When the referee ended the match the Mexico players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
