Radomir Gerlach was slow to take the kick. During this time Nytäppet Fc's players had a chance to rest. Cordara Larrave made a great header on Nytäppet Fc's corner, it was just that Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant managed to reach the ball for a save. When Patricio Costa came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patricio Costa couldn't finish the play. Nytäppet Fc's Sture Abrahamsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 17th minute of play. In the 18th minute Venezuela were awarded a corner. Tomas Illescas went to the cornerflag to take it. Ove Lekberg hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dušan Vlahović in the 24th minute. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Camilo Gaos hit a great ball. 26 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Dušan Vlahović came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Peter Gustafsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30th minute Patricio Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sture Abrahamsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Patricio Costa took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sture Abrahamsson. Sture Abrahamsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 34 minutes into the match, Haritz Trespuentes notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 37 minutes into the match, Nytäppet Fc's Haritz Trespuentes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 39th minute, Dušan Vlahović got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 40th minute, Patricio Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 45 minutes, Dušan Vlahović managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nytäppet Fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dušan Vlahović was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dušan Vlahović in the 47th minute of the match. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Niclas Malmberg hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Niclas Malmberg kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Sture Abrahamsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with Sture Abrahamsson in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Venezuela's Tomas Illescas, in the 73rd minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. Sture Abrahamsson made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Nytäppet Fc booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillermo Mariano didn't get a good kick on the ball. 84 minutes into the game, Dušan Vlahović cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sture Abrahamsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Sture Abrahamsson made a huge save. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Sture Abrahamsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Niclas Malmberg charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Niclas Malmberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Venezuela players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Nytäppet Fc.
