Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Daniel Zorita kicked off to start the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Franz Neumann during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 3 played minutes Hertha 1969 got a freekick which was hit by Franz Neumann. In the 5th minute, Niko Tranenskær hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 6 played minutes, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Lennard Finkenrath came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ecuador reached it. Juan Sebastián Puig kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. After 7 played minutes, Hertha 1969's Niko Tranenskær shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Julio Vera came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. Hertha 1969's Lennard Finkenrath played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 9th minute of play. In the 10th match minute, Hertha 1969 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emmerich Aumüller to maneuver through the defense. 12 minutes into the match, Hertha 1969's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Montenegro came free, but Lennard Finkenrath reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lennard Finkenrath took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 20 minutes into the match, Hertha 1969's Damien Narten sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hertha 1969's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Niko Tranenskær in the 22nd minute. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Beniamin Zbytniewski advanced and headed the ball into goal, 1-0 in the 22nd minute. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Lennard Finkenrath didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. In the 28th minute Niko Tranenskær shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Franz Neumann in the 32nd minute of play. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lennard Finkenrath having to interfere. Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Franz Neumann went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Damien Narten kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Lennard Finkenrath showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Andino in the 40th minute of the match. When Emmerich Aumüller fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hertha 1969's protests and gave Emmerich Aumüller a yellow card for diving instead. Emmerich Aumüller kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Franz Neumann stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damien Narten, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 56th minute of play forced Hertha 1969's goalkeeper Lennard Finkenrath to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 58 minutes into the match, Hertha 1969's goalkeeper Lennard Finkenrath had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. In the 62ndth minute of the game Franz Neumann who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Hertha 1969's Franz Neumann in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. Hertha 1969 were awarded a corner in the 64th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Franz Neumann, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. In the 67th minute, Daniel Zorita left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Felix Montenegro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lennard Finkenrath read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. The audience cheered loudly when Felix Montenegro's long shot in the 70th minute became 2-2 when the ball went to the left of and passed Lennard Finkenrath. The supporters of Hertha 1969 booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agustín Saelices didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damien Narten, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. When the match clock showed 81 minutes, the score became 3-2 when Franz Neumann sped through Ecuador's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Julio Vera. In the 84th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lennard Finkenrath saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lennard Finkenrath made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Andino in the 87th minute of play. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Franz Neumann in the 88th minute of play. Lennard Finkenrath showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 90th minute of the match. In the 92nd minute Franz Neumann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lennard Finkenrath breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lennard Finkenrath took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Hertha 1969 support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
