Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Venezuela's Tomas Illescas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Franz Neumann, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. After 10th play minutes Franz Neumann shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Jonathan Ferrant and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 14th minute Franz Neumann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Damien Narten's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jonathan Ferrant firmly grabbed it by the left post. 21 minutes into the game, Hertha 1969's Franz Neumann nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Franz Neumann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Lennard Finkenrath showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. In the 41st minute of the match Venezuela got a corner. Hertha 1969's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tomas Illescas ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Tomas Illescas got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Lennard Finkenrath quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Franz Neumann made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Franz Neumann notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 56 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Franz Neumann came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 57th minute Damien Narten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hugo Dicke made in the 59th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Damien Narten immediately put the ball in play. In the 63rd minute Franz Neumann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gino Van Herendael in the 76th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 80 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Illescas. Lennard Finkenrath took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lennard Finkenrath made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 87th minute. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Rigoberto Mina got a free kick in the 95th minute. When the referee ended the match the Hertha 1969 players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
