Venezuela's defense didn't have a chance, in the 7th minute, when Ramon Pueblo scored to the left of an out of position Jonathan Ferrant, making the score, 2-0. A collision led to BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Cirilo Arlo hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Ramon Pueblo took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Jonathan Ferrant to make any attempt to save it. After 16 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Mariano. Big Hands took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Ferrant was a little too slow when Ramon Pueblo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 24th minute. The score was now 4-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Ramon Pueblo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 5-0 in the 30 minute of play. In the 35th minute, Venezuela's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Cirilo Arlo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Ramon Pueblo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 6-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Illescas to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramon Pueblo in the 52nd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramon Pueblo in the 66th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's Lakis Kaminaris got a free kick in the 71st minute. In the 73rd minute, Rigoberto Mina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ramon Pueblo took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. After having played for 77 minutes, Ramon Pueblo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ramon Pueblo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Big Hands made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramon Pueblo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cléber Nunes in the 90th minute of the match. The supporters of Venezuela booed when BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cléber Nunes didn't get a good kick on the ball.
