Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Arjen de Boer made the kick off which started today's match. With a little luck, Sons of Strategy's Jan de Boer got control of the ball when Mariano Lacasa tried to sneak it across the goal line. 9 minutes into the match, Sons of Strategy's goalkeeper Jan de Boer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariano Lacasa. 14 minutes into the game, Alan Tamayo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chile's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sons of Strategy the free kick. After a rather tough play, Chile's Alan Tamayo got a free kick in the 15th minute. After 15 played minutes, Sons of Strategy's Marinus Abbenbroek shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Thiago Pliego came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sons of Strategy reached it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Lacasa got free with Jan de Boer in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Orlando Casaus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan de Boer having to interfere. Jan de Boer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 21st minute. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jan de Boer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Arjen de Boer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Thiago Pliego was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. 30 minutes into the match, Mariano Lacasa dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jan de Boer, 2-0. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sons of Strategy's goalkeeper Jan de Boer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 35 minutes Sons of Strategy's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mariano Lacasa who took care of the corner kick. Guillermo Fontirroig made a great header on Chile's corner, it was just that Sons of Strategy's Jan de Boer managed to reach the ball for a save. 37 minutes into the match, Sons of Strategy's Arnold Pool sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thiago Pliego narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Arnold Pool recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 42nd minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan de Boer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mariano Lacasas short, quick shot in the 44thth minute got Jan de Boer to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 45 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jan de Boer narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arjen de Boer in the 47th minute of play. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henk van Zwieten in the 48th minute of play.
The audience was convinced that Mariano Lacasa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jan de Boer was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. After having played for 53 minutes, Folker Diggele managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sons of Strategy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Folker Diggele was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mariano Lacasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jan de Boer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 63rd minute of the match. Arjen de Boer took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Thiago Pliego. Thiago Pliego dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. 74 minutes into the game, Henk van Zwieten cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Thiago Pliego was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 76 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jan de Boer narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jan de Boer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mariano Lacasa went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. In the 89th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan de Boer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sons of Strategy's Jan de Boer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 89th minute of play. Arnold Pool's late challenge caught a Chile's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arnold Pool helped the player get up and apologised. Chile's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
