After some careless play in the Mexico defense, Jerónimo Leiria kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dante Lacasa. The Mexico fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dante Lacasa should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, VETERANOS DA GUINÉ - FLF's Gentil Ramalho got a free kick in the 6th minute. In the 11th minute, Cristiano Bento made a precise shot to the right of Dante Lacasa. Mexico's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Miguel Pedroso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Facundo Cadaval in the 15th minute of the match. In the 17th minute, Berto Guine hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alberto Tafalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Miguel Pedroso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vivaldo Belém, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the last second Dante Lacasa throw himself and got hold of the ball when Vivaldo Belém in the 29thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jerónimo Leiria in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 34th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lorenzo Cazalla to maneuver through the defense. In the 35th minute Bertus Guine shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, VETERANOS DA GUINÉ - FLF's Jerónimo Leiria got a free kick in the 36th minute. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerónimo Leiria in the 38th minute of play. In the 41st minute Cristiano Bento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vivaldo Belém got free with Dante Lacasa in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 47th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Pedroso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joel Gaona to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in VETERANOS DA GUINÉ - FLF's zone, Lautaro Mancebo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miguel Pedroso came out of the goal and Lautaro Mancebo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Miguel Pedroso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 56th minute. Lautaro Mancebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Miguel Pedroso made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 58th minute of play forced VETERANOS DA GUINÉ - FLF's goalkeeper Miguel Pedroso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A well-hit corner resulted in Alberto Tafalla heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. 63 minutes into the game, VETERANOS DA GUINÉ - FLF's Jerónimo Leiria nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dante Lacasa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. 65 minutes into the game, Cristiano Bento was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. VETERANOS DA GUINÉ - FLF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mexico the free kick. Mexico's Xavier Seco was substituted for Facundo Cadaval. A collision led to VETERANOS DA GUINÉ - FLF getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Cristiano Bento hit a great ball. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vivaldo Belém in the 68th minute of play. Alberto Tafalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Miguel Pedroso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lautaro Mancebo took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Miguel Pedroso. Miguel Pedroso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. In the 87th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Pedroso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alberto Tafalla could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Miguel Pedroso made a huge save. In the 90th match minute, VETERANOS DA GUINÉ - FLF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bertus Guine to maneuver through the defense. In the 90th minute, Joel Gaona got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dante Lacasa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Albertus Guine's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. After 92 minutes, Albertus Guine made it 4-1 with a short kick to the right side. Mexico's Dante Lacasa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The VETERANOS DA GUINÉ - FLF fans cheered their team off the field, for while Mexico had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
