Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Marian Mondrowski started the match with the kick off. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marian Mondrowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. In the 5th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerzy Dudek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jerzy Dudek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Mancebo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jerzy Dudek didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joel Gaona went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 15 minutes into the match, Mexico's Luca Zorita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jerzy Dudek narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 16th minute after KS Bukowe's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marian Mondrowski in the 19th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 21st minute of play forced KS Bukowe's goalkeeper Jerzy Dudek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. KS Bukowe's Jerzy Dudek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 22nd minute of play. After 24 minutes KS Bukowe's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michal Jarosiewicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gianluca Lapadula got free with Dante Lacasa in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Alberto Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Michal Jarosiewicz succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 38th playminute. After having played for 40 minutes, Joel Gaona managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joel Gaona was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 42 minutes into the match, Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gianluca Lapadula. When Michal Jarosiewicz came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the KS Bukowe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Michal Jarosiewicz couldn't finish the play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marian Mondrowski in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dante Lacasa saved Mexico from getting behind. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stanislao Kuparinen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 81st minute, Marian Mondrowski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KS Bukowe fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Jerzy Dudek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 85th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Michal Jarosiewicz managed to get in a good position for a shot. KS Bukowe's supporters rose to their feet, but Michal Jarosiewicz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dante Lacasa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 88th minute, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-3. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
