The Peru fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 19th minute Krzysztof Gizynski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, Krzysztof Gizynski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rolando Noboa. Peru's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Krzysztof Gizynski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Ryszard Golaszewski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luz Tejedor in the 25th minute. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olgierd Szkaradek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th match minute, Peru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Efraim Gilabert to maneuver through the defense. 36 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Krzysztof Gizynski came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dominik Barowicz in the 39th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Julian Murillo got free with Ryszard Golaszewski in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Piast Leszczyny booed when Peru was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliseo Mina didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Krzysztof Gizynski in the 45th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Julian Murillo was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dominik Barowicz in the 55th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 56thth minute of the game Dominik Barowicz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Peru's Rolando Noboa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Piast Leszczyny's Krzysztof Gizynski was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Rolando Noboa in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Piast Leszczyny made a substitution. Dawid Szotek replaced Beniamin Golembiewski. After a rather tough play, Peru's Julian Murillo got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Krzysztof Gizynski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Rolando Noboa made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julian Murillo in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ryszard Golaszewski saved Piast Leszczyny from getting behind. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Krzysztof Gizynski, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. After 74 played minutes Piast Leszczyny got a freekick which was hit by Ignacy Petka. Ignacy Petka hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Piast Leszczyny's Ryszard Golaszewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 81st minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Piast Leszczyny's Krzysztof Gizynski slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rolando Noboa. That made the score 1-2 after 83 minutes of play. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Ryszard Golaszewski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael Gallo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Piast Leszczyny's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
