Dominik Pietrasz was slow to take the kick. During this time NDVX's players had a chance to rest. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Andino in the 12th minute of play forced NDVX's goalkeeper Du to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Du showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 14th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Felix Montenegro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Du made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. NDVX's Du played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 19th minute of play. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to NDVX getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Dominik Pietrasz hit a great ball. In the 29th minute of the match Daniel Zorita sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Du skillfully saved the ball. If Carlos Bento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind NDVX's goalkeeper Du, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Du took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Du showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Du showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 39th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Du breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Dominik Pietrasz fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored NDVX's protests and gave Dominik Pietrasz a yellow card for diving instead. After 43 played minutes NDVX got a freekick which was hit by Dominik Pietrasz. NDVX's Du played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Andino in the 44th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Carlos Bento kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Julio Vera. That made the score 1-1 in the 46 minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Ecuador's Daniel Zorita to fire away a dangerous shot which Du despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Du in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kazimierz Birkenhagen in the 58th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Du made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice moves Daniel Zorita could shoot a difficult shot in the 61st minute, which Du however easily saved by the left post. Kazimierz Birkenhagen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Du in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. NDVX's Du proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save NDVX from getting a goal against them. 73 minutes into the match, NDVX's goalkeeper Du had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 76th minute after NDVX's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Kazimierz Birkenhagen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. Du made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. 89 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Bento came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. NDVX's Du played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 91st minute of play. Carlos Bento struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for NDVX. 96 minutes into the game, Kazimierz Birkenhagen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. NDVX's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. A collision led to NDVX getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Kazimierz Birkenhagen hit a great ball. NDVX were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Ecuador for a fine match.
