Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zhivko Shpatov in the 12th minute of play. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Nikifor Vekov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. Tomas Illescas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nikifor Vekov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Alfredo Di Stéfano notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredo Di Stéfano in the 26th minute of play. After 28 minutes Venezuela's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Bozhko Staevski who took care of the corner kick. The corner led JET-M's Ivan Haglund to fire away a dangerous shot which Jonathan Ferrant despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 30th minute of play forced JET-M's goalkeeper Nikifor Vekov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nikifor Vekov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. 42 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julio Quirze. In the 47th minute, Alfredo Di Stéfano reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. The goal made the score 3-0. JET-M's Mirolyub Radin was substituted for Alfredo Di Stéfano.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Illescas was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Julio Quirze left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The JET-M fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jose Correa got a free kick in the 57th minute. The audience was convinced that Ivan Haglund's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. The supporters of JET-M booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Chicote didn't get a good kick on the ball. It was beautiful to see JET-M's Bozhko Staevski in action when he in the 67th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! In the 74th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Venegas to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lu Wei Zheng in the 76th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 82nd minute, Mirolyub Radin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The JET-M fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivan Haglund in the 89th minute of play. After 95 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. In the 96th minute Ivan Haglund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 98 minutes Venezuela's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Bozhko Staevski who took care of the corner kick. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. JET-M had played much better football throughout.
