Harvey The Hedgehog's Alex Orsi got a good chance for a goal in the 2nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Alex Orsi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alberto Gisbert's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sebastian Guipuzkoa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Uruguay's Francisco Seco got a free kick in the 11th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yane Topuzakov in the 12th minute of play forced Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 13 minutes into the game, Uruguay's Francisco Seco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sebastian Guipuzkoa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 17th minute, Cirilo Primeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Harvey The Hedgehog's attentive Cirilo Primeiro managed to snatch the ball when Arturo Carvallo made a throw-in in the 20th minute of the game. After 21 played minutes Harvey The Hedgehog got a freekick which was hit by Cirilo Primeiro. Joaquin Gayoso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alex Orsi went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. When Harvey The Hedgehog's Alex Orsi in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Uruguay's goalie prevented a goal. A nice corner shot did that Yane Topuzakov got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Joaquin Gayoso quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Joaquin Gayoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alex Orsi, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. In the 39th match minute, Harvey The Hedgehog was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niki Tzolev to maneuver through the defense. The audience held their breath when Jaime Cazalla in the 41st minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Sebastian Guipuzkoa's left hand side. In the 43rd minute, Jorge Sainz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 48 minutes had been played when some careless play by Harvey The Hedgehog's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jaime Cazalla was slow to take the kick. During this time Uruguay's players had a chance to rest. The supporters of Harvey The Hedgehog booed when Uruguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Covarrubias didn't get a good kick on the ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Yane Topuzakov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Joaquin Gayoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niki Tzolev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alex Orsi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joaquin Gayoso having to make a save. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Uruguay from getting a goal against them. Joaquin Gayoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yane Topuzakov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Yane Topuzakov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sebastian Guipuzkoa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Alberto Gisbert's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sebastian Guipuzkoa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. After having played for 88 minutes, Alex Orsi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Harvey The Hedgehog's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alex Orsi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Harvey The Hedgehog were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Uruguay's much stronger midfield.
