Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gino Moreira kicked off to start the match. Daniel Zorita blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without João Augusto Soeiro having to make a save. 6 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gino Moreira. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. João Augusto Soeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 15 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gino Moreira. 16 minutes into the game, Gino Moreira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gino Moreira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Porvir FC's Rodrigo Quirino got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 29th match minute, Porvir FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Velloso to maneuver through the defense. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Augusto Soeiro having to interfere. Cristian Sancho might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over João Augusto Soeiro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristian Sancho ran back to his position shaking his head. Evandro Penha kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Porvir FC's Gino Moreira got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 42 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Rodrigo Quirino came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Ecuador's goalie and right to Edu França. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Ecuador's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. Daniel Zorita might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over João Augusto Soeiro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Zorita ran back to his position shaking his head. If Gino Moreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Porvir FC's Sérgio Gomes got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gino Moreira in the 65th minute of play. João Augusto Soeiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 70th minute. 75 minutes into the match, Gino Moreira notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Porvir FC made a substitution. Anderson Prata replaced Evandro Penha. Christian Velloso kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. When Daniel Zorita fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ecuador's protests and gave Daniel Zorita a yellow card for diving instead. In the 94th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Zorita to maneuver through the defense. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigo Quirino in the 95th minute of play. The Porvir FC players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
