The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaston Schillinger in the 4th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gaston Schillinger in the 5th minute. After 6 minutes of play, paganese62's Gaston Schillinger made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gaston Schillinger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. paganese62's Bastien Bauer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 19th minute of play. Bastien Bauer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th minute paganese62 were awarded a corner. Gaston Schillinger went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led paganese62's Gaston Schillinger to fire away a dangerous shot which Jonathan Ferrant despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Venezuela's attentive Salvador Gisbert managed to snatch the ball when Hervé Moussu made a throw-in in the 26th minute of the game. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Gaston Schillinger sent off a good shot on target. If Gaston Schillinger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bastien Bauer. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. Pacôme Guinchard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Camilo Gaos kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Tomas Illescas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bastien Bauer was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. In the 42nd minute, Franklin Py hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Patricio Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Patricio Costa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bastien Bauer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 46th minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

53 minutes into the match, Gaston Schillinger notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tomas Illescas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bastien Bauer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in paganese62's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bastien Bauer came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 63 minutes into the match, Gaston Schillinger had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gaston Schillinger was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Gaston Schillinger kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. When paganese62's Gaston Schillinger in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. After 73 minutes Venezuela's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gaston Schillinger who took care of the corner kick. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaston Schillinger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gaston Schillinger in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 76th minute, Gaston Schillinger got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gaston Schillinger in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. paganese62's Gaston Schillinger was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jonathan Ferrant in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. There was no doubt that paganese62 were the better team. paganese62's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
