Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcos Lluis ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcos Lluis in the 3rd minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcos Lluis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pedro Manzanares having to make a save. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Lluis in the 5th minute of play. In the 7th minute, Marcos Lluis made a precise shot to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Colombia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 10th minute Axel Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aprígio Montenegro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 13 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Axel Montenegro sped through CheR FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Aprígio Montenegro. After a defensive mix-up in CheR FC's zone, Luis Cazalla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aprígio Montenegro came out of the goal and Luis Cazalla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcos Lluis in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Manzanares saved Colombia from getting behind. A sloppy throw-in by Lucio Peyo in the 27th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Colombia's Antonio Indiano. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcos Lluis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcos Lluis in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Manzanares saved Colombia from getting behind. Pedro Manzanares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcos Lluis in the 38th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Montenegro in the 39th minute of play forced CheR FC's goalkeeper Aprígio Montenegro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th minute, Axel Montenegro made a precise shot to the right of Aprígio Montenegro. CheR FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. When Abram Sarmiento came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Colombia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abram Sarmiento couldn't finish the play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abram Sarmiento to make the kick off. Lei Kun made in the 54th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Su Jun Yang. If Bernard Motowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Benny Impens kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. In the 62nd minute Marcos Lluis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Luis Cazalla in the 66th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by CheR FC's Hipolito Frasquito. 67 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Alexandre Markarov came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abram Sarmiento came free with the goalkeeper in the 68th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Aprígio Montenegro could save by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernard Motowski in the 71st minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aprígio Montenegro made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Kevin Mastache sent off a good shot on target. Aprígio Montenegro was out of position in the 78 minute of play, and Kevin Mastache capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Kevin Mastache really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. Colombia's Abram Secada was substituted for Axel Montenegro. Colombia made a substitution. Ignacio Mastache replaced Abram Sarmiento. In the 83rd minute, Alexandre Markarov left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CheR FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. A collision led to CheR FC getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Victor Clifford hit a great ball. Aprígio Montenegro made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Pascual Carballar sent off a good shot on target. 92 minutes into the match, CheR FC's goalkeeper Aprígio Montenegro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ignacio Mastache. Colombia's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
