Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Edmundo Espiga kicked off to start the match. 8 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Eugenio Bernal came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valentín Carvallo's late challenge caught a Piquirenda FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Valentín Carvallo helped the player get up and apologised. 20 minutes into the game, Piquirenda FC's Eugenio Bernal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lautaro Navarro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eugenio Bernal in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lautaro Navarro saved Honduras from getting behind. Eugenio Bernal took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lautaro Navarro. Lautaro Navarro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Sebastian Villa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Didi Papardelas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Valentín Carvallo hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Honduras's zone, Eugenio Bernal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lautaro Navarro came out of the goal and Eugenio Bernal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Eugenio Bernal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lautaro Navarro was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. In the 41st match minute, Piquirenda FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Severiano Ibañez to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Valentín Carvallo hit a great ball. Lautaro Navarro was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Severiano Ibañez showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-0 in the 45 minute of play.

The wind increased when Eugenio Bernal made the kick off in the second half. Eugenio Bernal scored 5-0 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lautaro Navarro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Piquirenda FC made a substitution. Eriberto Montrel replaced Filiberto Indartsu. Valentín Carvallo kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugenio Bernal in the 64th minute of the match. After 65 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Valentín Carvallo. Lautaro Navarro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Roberto Iratze went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. 73 minutes into the match, Eugenio Bernal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lautaro Navarro. Honduras's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eugenio Bernal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. 75 minutes into the match, Eugenio Bernal notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of Honduras's Lautaro Navarro. Lautaro Navarro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Valentín Carvallo hit a great ball. Piquirenda FC made a substitution. Jilian Oosters replaced Roberto Iratze. The supporters of Piquirenda FC booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valentín Carvallo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Piquirenda FC fans' excitement grew in the 83rd match minute when Piquirenda FC's Cayetano Lluciano looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 9-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 86thth minute of the game Cayetano Lluciano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Honduras's Lautaro Navarro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cayetano Lluciano in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lautaro Navarro saved Honduras from getting behind. In the 91st minute Eugenio Bernal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cayetano Lluciano in the 96th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Honduras players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Piquirenda FC.
