Colombia were awarded a corner in the 37th minute after Roncourt's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Axel Montenegro took the corner. The corner ended in Axel Montenegro almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Roncourt's Brian Fumey did a great save. Judas Bricaud tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Brian Fumey. An unnecessary self made goal, 1-2 in the 37th minute. The supporters of Roncourt booed when Colombia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santino Seco didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 42nd minute Florent Blanc shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kevin Mastache to make the kick off. After having played for 53 minutes, J.P. The corner led Roncourt's Horácio Larreta to fire away a dangerous shot which Pedro Manzanares despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 69th match minute, Colombia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonio Indiano to maneuver through the defense. In the 75thth minute of the game J.P. Kapar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Colombia's Pedro Manzanares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Brian Fumey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abram Secada in the 78th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by J.P. Kapar in the 79th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th minute of the match Roncourt got a corner. Colombia's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cleto Pomelov ran over to the corner to take the kick. A very nice done corner allowed Léon Cailleaux to score against Pedro Manzanares in Colombia's goal. 2-2 after 80 minutes. J.P. Kapar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Roncourt's Marouane Kiefer quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Joshua Garrido, made in the 86th minute of the game. 92 minutes into the match, Roncourt's J.P. Kapar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Manzanares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. J.P. Kapar scored 3-2 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Manzanares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Colombia's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
