Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Badaz Kibøl in the 6th minute of the match. FC Szczucin's Iwan Swoboda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 7th minute of play. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Luca Zorita hit a great ball. Iwan Swoboda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Iwan Swoboda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Szczucin's Iwan Swoboda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 28th minute of play. 31 minutes into the game, Mexico's Joel Gaona nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Iwan Swoboda made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 35th minute of play forced FC Szczucin's goalkeeper Iwan Swoboda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emanuel Barbu took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Iwan Swoboda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. After 41 minutes, Edmund Walentowicz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Szczucin and the Mexico players grew even worse after the yellow card. Edmund Walentowicz kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. The supporters of FC Szczucin booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Leoz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joel Gaona was the one to do the kick off. FC Szczucin's Iwan Swoboda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 52nd minute of play. In the 55th minute, Joel Gaona ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Iwan Swoboda was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Xavier Seco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iwan Swoboda having to interfere. 67 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Barbu came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, FC Szczucin's Iwan Swoboda got control of the ball when Lorenzo Cazalla tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alberto Tafalla could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Iwan Swoboda made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emanuel Barbu in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dante Lacasa saved Mexico from getting behind. Emanuel Barbu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dante Lacasa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. Facundo Cadaval sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mexico's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
