When Alex Chicote fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Alex Chicote a yellow card for diving instead. After 20 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Alex Chicote. 35 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leandro Gombal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Camilo Gaos's late challenge caught a CAFC1905's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Camilo Gaos helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Camilo Gaos got a free kick in the 36th minute. In the 39th minute, Norman Brent fired away a sharp free kick straight at the goal. It looked like it might be really tough for the goalie to handle, but the shot went into the stands to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eduard Micineanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eduard Micineanu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 60 minutes into the match, Eduard Micineanu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eduard Micineanu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albert Fitzgerald in the 74th minute of the match. In the 77th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Costa to maneuver through the defense. Patricio Costa hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. If Eduard Micineanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eduard Micineanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 84th minute, Tomas Illescas made a precise shot to the right of Leandro Gombal. CAFC1905's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. CAFC1905 made a substitution. Brynn Meade replaced Ray Titmuss. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albert Fitzgerald in the 93rd minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albert Fitzgerald, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. CAFC1905 walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
