Qin Fan Sheng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orlando Casaus in the 12th minute of play. In the 13th minute Chile were awarded a corner. Mariano Lacasa went to the cornerflag to take it. A well-hit corner resulted in Alan Tamayo heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thiago Pliego came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by ZORZAL01's Peter Crouch. But to his dismay, Peter Crouch quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind ZORZAL01's goalkeeper Qin Fan Sheng, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 24 minutes had been played when some careless play by ZORZAL01's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mariano Lacasa was slow to take the kick. During this time Chile's players had a chance to rest. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Qin Fan Sheng read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. After some careless play in the ZORZAL01 defense, Mariano Lacasa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Qin Fan Sheng. The ZORZAL01 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Qin Fan Sheng should have stopped the shot. ZORZAL01's Pavel Nedvěd quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Felix Garrido, made in the 29th minute of the game. With a little luck, ZORZAL01's Qin Fan Sheng got control of the ball when Mariano Lacasa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peter Crouch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. ZORZAL01's Qin Fan Sheng proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save ZORZAL01 from getting a goal against them. In the 42nd minute Peter Crouch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Peter Crouch to strike the kick off in the second half. Peter Crouch scored 1-2 in the 51st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Thiago Pliego, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 55th minute of the match ZORZAL01 got a corner. Chile's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Pavel Nedvěd ran over to the corner to take the kick. Peter Crouch made a great header on ZORZAL01's corner, it was just that Chile's Thiago Pliego managed to reach the ball for a save. 59 minutes into the match, ZORZAL01's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Qin Fan Sheng reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 59th minute of play forced ZORZAL01's goalkeeper Qin Fan Sheng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mariano Lacasa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Qin Fan Sheng having to interfere. In the 73rd minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Qin Fan Sheng saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mariano Lacasa took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Qin Fan Sheng. Qin Fan Sheng dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 77th minute of play forced ZORZAL01's goalkeeper Qin Fan Sheng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 83 minutes into the game, Peter Crouch recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Thiago Pliego. Peter Crouch showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. 86 minutes into the match, ZORZAL01's Peter Crouch sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thiago Pliego narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Chile's Thiago Pliego proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Chile from getting a goal against them. 93 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Peter Crouch came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mariano Lacasa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. ZORZAL01 had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
