In the 3rd minute Lautaro Mancebo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Corrêa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alberto Tafalla might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luiz Corrêa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alberto Tafalla ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 12th minute of play forced ROSÁRIO SPORT's goalkeeper Luiz Corrêa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13th minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. Luiz Corrêa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Mancebo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Joel Gaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sten Andrejević in the 18th minute of play. Mexico's Alberto Tafalla got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luiz Corrêa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 24th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Sten Andrejević kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dante Lacasa. That made the score 1-0 in the 26 minute of play. ROSÁRIO SPORT's Luiz Corrêa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 30th minute of play. After 31 minutes ROSÁRIO SPORT's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. ROSÁRIO SPORT's Luiz Corrêa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 36th minute of play. A throw-in in the 37th minute of the game was made by Macos Graciani with Joel Gaona as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Luca Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 43rd minute of the match Mexico got a corner. ROSÁRIO SPORT's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Luca Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Luiz Corrêa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Luiz Corrêa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Facundo Cadaval in the 57th minute of the match. Mexico's Facundo Cadaval managed to work through ROSÁRIO SPORT's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Facundo Cadaval dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. In the 63rd minute of the game Macos Graciani made a throw-in which Joel Gaona played forward. Sten Andrejević's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dante Lacasa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. After 73 minutes of play, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luiz Corrêa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luiz Corrêa made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Lautaro Mancebo sent off a good shot on target. Luiz Corrêa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 85th minute of the match. ROSÁRIO SPORT's Luiz Corrêa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save ROSÁRIO SPORT from getting a goal against them. The supporters of ROSÁRIO SPORT booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lautaro Mancebo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mexico were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
