Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Mariano Lacasa kicked off to start the match. The audience was convinced that Mariano Lacasa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jan de Boer was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. Mariano Lacasa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Jan de Boer made a huge save. In the 17th match minute, Chile was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alan Tamayo to maneuver through the defense. Sons of Strategy's Jan de Boer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Sons of Strategy from getting a goal against them. Alan Tamayo hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Jan de Boer made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Mariano Lacasa sent off a good shot on target. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henk van Zwieten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 30 minutes into the match, Sons of Strategy's goalkeeper Jan de Boer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariano Lacasa. Arnold Pool fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thiago Pliego having to interfere. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sons of Strategy's goalkeeper Jan de Boer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arjen de Boer in the 39th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mariano Lacasa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Jan de Boer made a huge save. In the 45th minute Henk van Zwieten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Folker Diggele made in the 47th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Chile's Pedro Indiano. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Arjen de Boer made the kick off in the second half. Jan de Boer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 51st minute of the match. Chile's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mariano Lacasa in the 52nd minute. Orlando Casaus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilco Heida in the 59th minute of play. Henk van Zwieten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 64 minutes into the match, Mariano Lacasa notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Sons of Strategy's Jan de Boer. Jan de Boer was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mariano Lacasa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arjen de Boers short, quick shot in the 76thth minute got Thiago Pliego to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Mariano Lacasa took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jan de Boer. Jan de Boer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 83rd minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan de Boer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 88th minute, Mariano Lacasa made a precise shot to the right of Jan de Boer. Sons of Strategy's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Sons of Strategy's Jan de Boer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 95th minute of play. After some careless play in the Chile defense, Arjen de Boer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Thiago Pliego. The Chile fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thiago Pliego should have stopped the shot. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Chile had won after a very even match.
