Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Axel Tasis took the kick off in the first half of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eugeniusz Kostrzewa during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 10 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Eliseo Noboa. In the 12th minute Gică Boerescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 12th minute, Alan Moruga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Axel Tasis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Iacob Nistor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Iacob Nistor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Puig in the 18th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the match, Axel Tasis notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Alex Team's Iacob Nistor. Iacob Nistor was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Florin Aluchei fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alex Team's protests and gave Florin Aluchei a yellow card for diving instead. Florin Aluchei hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Tasis in the 35th minute of play forced Alex Team's goalkeeper Iacob Nistor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abel Carballo hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. 김 즙 came free with the goalkeeper in the 43rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Benito Sanz could save by the left post. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gică Boerescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Gică Boerescu made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Dráuzio Recife was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alex Team's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Costa Rica the free kick. Eugeniusz Kostrzewa kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Alex Team's zone, Axel Tasis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iacob Nistor came out of the goal and Axel Tasis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Benito Sanz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of 김 즙's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gică Boerescu in the 60th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 68th minute, Marin Cantemir hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Gică Boerescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. 김 즙's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benito Sanz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. In the 77th match minute, Alex Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florin Aluchei to maneuver through the defense. Alex Team's 김 즙 managed to work through Costa Rica's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. 김 즙 dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. 82 minutes into the game, 김 즙 cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gică Boerescu in the 89th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 김 즙, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aaron Alcocer kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. In the 94th minute, Hugo Ferrant hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Cornel Bodiu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alex Team's supporters rose to their feet, but Cornel Bodiu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Sanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Alex Team had played much better football throughout.
