The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 17 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Barrios. 22 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Kasper De Cat came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Panama's Marcos Cotilla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Panama from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nic Adams got free with Marcos Cotilla in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tomas Berganza might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emanuel Grammet. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Berganza ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 29th minute Nic Adams shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Tomas Berganza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emanuel Grammet was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Julien Cappels kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Tomas Berganza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Grammet having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Fox Hunting Squad's Kasper De Cat slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Marcos Cotilla. That made the score 1-0 after 46 minutes of play.

With a little luck, Fox Hunting Squad's Emanuel Grammet got control of the ball when Abraham Alguacil tried to sneak it across the goal line. Abraham Alguacil's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emanuel Grammet read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abraham Alguacil got free with Emanuel Grammet in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 62 minutes into the game, Panama's Abraham Alguacil nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Emanuel Grammet made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nic Adams in the 65th minute of play. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nic Adams in the 74th minute of play. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maicon van Beek in the 80th minute of the match. Emanuel Grammet made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Abraham Alguacil sent off a good shot on target. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Louis Van Campenhout, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Panama's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
