Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) 3 minutes into the match, Moises Fernandino dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Peru Aranzubia, 1-0. The throw-in from Hermelando Medina in the 24th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by El Salvador's Luis Rubio. Peru Aranzubia made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Moises Fernandino sent off a good shot on target. In the 31st minute, Moises Fernandino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marco Tamayo hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. After 34 played minutes, Rubite FC's Paulo Uria shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Rubite FC reached it. After 37 played minutes El Salvador got a freekick which was hit by Abram Luque. In the 38th minute of the match Paulo Uria sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ricardo Zorita skillfully saved the ball. Peru Aranzubia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marco Tamayo in the 43rd minute. In the 48th minute Mateo Leguizamo managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Moises Fernandino made a kick off. Ricardo Zorita made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. When Moises Fernandino fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Salvador's protests and gave Moises Fernandino a yellow card for diving instead. In the 62nd minute, Moises Fernandino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Paulo Uria in the 63rd minute really tested Ricardo Zorita's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Peru Aranzubia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moises Fernandino in the 64th minute of the match. 65 minutes into the match, Abram Luque had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Peru Aranzubia. Rubite FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abram Luque was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. 69 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goal looked a bit too open when Eufrasio Patiño came free, but Ricardo Zorita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 90th minute, Rubite FC's Cesaro Solano ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ricardo Zorita. Ricardo Zorita yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-2. Peru Aranzubia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moises Fernandino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. El Salvador fully deserved thier win.
