Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Joel Gaona got the match started through his kick off. In the 5th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kjell Sjöö saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kjell Sjöö made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 6th minute of play. In the 7th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Facundo Cadaval to maneuver through the defense. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 15th minute. With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when Erik Vihonský tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kjell Sjöö stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lautaro Mancebo's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Lorenzo Cazalla got a free kick in the 27th minute. In the 32nd minute, Joel Gaona ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kjell Sjöö was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Kjell Sjöö took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Mancebo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 39 minutes into the match, Luca Zorita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kjell Sjöö. Curiphila Eagles's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luca Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Kjell Sjöö made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 44th minute of play. The supporters of Curiphila Eagles booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Luque didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Curiphila Eagles getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Piearres Holgado hit a great ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Erik Vihonský was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Mexico booed when Curiphila Eagles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lúcio Sá didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 52nd match minute, Curiphila Eagles was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lúcio Sá to maneuver through the defense. Gustavo Reis hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. In the 56th minute, Luca Zorita fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 60 minutes into the match, Curiphila Eagles's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Kjell Sjöö reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kjell Sjöö showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lúcio Sá in the 63rd minute of the match. In the 64th minute, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Kjell Sjöö. Kjell Sjöö yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erik Vihonský, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. In the 73rd minute, Luca Rouco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 76th minute Lúcio Sá shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lautaro Mancebo came free with the goalkeeper in the 77th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Kjell Sjöö could save by the left post. Kjell Sjöö made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Lautaro Mancebo sent off a good shot on target. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Curiphila Eagles's Khaidir Sopandi. But to his dismay, Khaidir Sopandi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. Curiphila Eagles made a substitution. Téo Vianna replaced Vince Van Hooveldt. In the 85th minute of the match, Luca Zorita tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Kjell Sjöö saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 86th minute of the match, Lautaro Mancebo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Kjell Sjöö was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 89th minute after Curiphila Eagles's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. Joel Gaona's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kjell Sjöö read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. 91 minutes had been played when some careless play by Curiphila Eagles's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Joel Gaona almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Curiphila Eagles's Kjell Sjöö did a great save.
