Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) In the 5th minute of the match Venezuela got a corner. Canalla Fuego's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tomas Illescas ran over to the corner to take the kick. The supporters of Canalla Fuego booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salvador Gisbert didn't get a good kick on the ball. Clemente Benvido showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patricio Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Ricky Kalischer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. In the 17th minute Ricky Kalischer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 17 minutes into the game, Ricky Kalischer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Clemente Benvido stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Illescas's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. 26 minutes into the match, Canalla Fuego's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Clemente Benvido reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nicolae Honcioiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 33rd minute, Ricky Kalischer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Canalla Fuego's Aristides Villanueva got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 42 minutes, Niceto Ponte mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Canalla Fuego and the Venezuela players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpected shot in the 44th minute by Aristides Villanueva got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Ricky Kalischer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

Canalla Fuego made a substitution. Carlos Aimar replaced Aristides Villanueva. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ricky Kalischer made a kick off. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciro Rosini in the 52nd minute of the match. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 58 minutes, Ciro Rosini managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Canalla Fuego's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ciro Rosini was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ricky Kalischer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ciro Rosini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Niceto Ponte hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. After 78 minutes of play, Canalla Fuego's Carlos Aimar made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! Carlos Aimar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Canalla Fuego's Carlos Aimar got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Aimar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There was no doubt that Canalla Fuego were the better team. Canalla Fuego's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
