Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Daniel Zorita kicked off to start the match. In the 7th match minute, CAFC1905 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Norman Brent to maneuver through the defense. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 13 minutes, Aithan Dalahl managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CAFC1905's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aithan Dalahl was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leandro Gombal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 14th minute of play. 14 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Leandro Gombal was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ross Ingram, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 27 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Eduard Micineanu sped through Ecuador's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Julio Vera. Albert Fitzgerald fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Aithan Dalahl stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Aithan Dalahl tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albert Fitzgerald in the 39th minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, CAFC1905's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Andino came free, but Leandro Gombal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 45th minute after CAFC1905's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. Daniel Zorita made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that CAFC1905's Leandro Gombal managed to reach the ball for a save. Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eduard Micineanu went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 61 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Leandro Gombal. Daniel Zorita showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. 68 minutes into the match, CAFC1905's goalkeeper Leandro Gombal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felix Montenegro. Eduard Micineanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. In the 72nd minute, Daniel Zorita reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Leandro Gombal. The goal made the score 2-3. CAFC1905 made a substitution. Rupert Freeman replaced Cecilio Fagildo. CAFC1905's defense didn't have a chance, in the 85th minute, when Cristian Sancho scored to the left of an out of position Leandro Gombal, making the score, 2-4. In the 89th match minute, CAFC1905 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aithan Dalahl to maneuver through the defense. Felix Montes hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. CAFC1905 made a substitution. Gregory Tompkins replaced Ross Ingram. In the 93rd minute, Felix Montes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 94th minute Eduard Micineanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Albert Fitzgerald during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Ecuador booed when CAFC1905 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albert Fitzgerald didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
