The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bernard Motowski during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 13th minute, Bernard Motowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aprígio Montenegro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 17th minute of play. In the 19thth minute of the game Bernard Motowski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Peru's Rolando Noboa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rolando Noboa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcos Lluis in the 33rd minute. 37 minutes into the match, Julian Murillo notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of CheR FC's Aprígio Montenegro. Aprígio Montenegro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The wind increased when Marcos Lluis made the kick off in the second half. Julian Murillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. CheR FC made a substitution. Alexandre Markarov replaced Bernard Motowski. Aprígio Montenegro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseo Mina, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Julian Murillo got free with Aprígio Montenegro in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 74 minutes into the game, Julian Murillo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Aprígio Montenegro. Julian Murillo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. If Milagros Fraga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
