Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) With a couple of smart ball manuevers Przemyslaw Del Piero in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Patricio Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Patricio Costa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Florian Marciewicz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 12 minutes into the game, Bogumil Kempka threw the ball into play from the sideline. Venezuela's Alex Chicote quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Jonathan Ferrant was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Przemyslaw Del Piero showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 15 minute of play. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some careless play in the GÓRNIK ZABRZE defense, Tomas Illescas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Florian Marciewicz. The GÓRNIK ZABRZE fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Florian Marciewicz should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 19th minute of play forced GÓRNIK ZABRZE's goalkeeper Florian Marciewicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Florian Marciewicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 23rd minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Przemyslaw Del Piero's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. 30 minutes into the match, GÓRNIK ZABRZE's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Florian Marciewicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 32 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. After 35 minutes of play, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Florian Marciewicz was left in no man's land by his defense there! 41 minutes into the match, GÓRNIK ZABRZE's Przemyslaw Del Piero broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The GÓRNIK ZABRZE players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Venezuela were winning 1-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. Kajetan Duszenski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. In the 57thth minute of the game Przemyslaw Del Piero who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rigoberto Mina hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Przemyslaw Del Piero, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kajetan Duszenski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 71st minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florian Marciewicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 73 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 76 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. After a rather tough play, GÓRNIK ZABRZE's Bogumil Kempka got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Florian Marciewicz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Florian Marciewicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 87th minute of the match.
