Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jorge Vicente Squella got the match started through his kick off. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henry Tucknott having to interfere. Jonathan Venegas hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. After having played for 11 minutes, Anselmo Johans managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. General Velásquez's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anselmo Johans was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 13th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Anselmo Johans in the 14th minute really tested Jonathan Ferrant's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Henry Tucknott having to make a save. Henry Tucknott showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. 23 minutes into the match, General Velásquez's goal looked a bit too open when Patricio Costa came free, but Henry Tucknott reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24thth minute of the game Jorge Vicente Squella who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Venezuela booed when General Velásquez was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marciano Gibson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 31 minutes, Jorge Vicente Squella managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. General Velásquez's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jorge Vicente Squella was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Clemente Tuñon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. When General Velásquez's Jorge Vicente Squella in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. Jonathan Ferrant was out of position in the 36 minute of play, and Jorge Vicente Squella capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jorge Vicente Squella really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Marciano Gibson hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Henry Tucknott showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Clemente Tuñon took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Jose Correa hit a great ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Vicente Squella in the 57th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Renato Goycolea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 73 minutes into the match, General Velásquez's goalkeeper Henry Tucknott had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. The supporters of Venezuela booed when General Velásquez was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Švácha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Vicente Squella in the 81st minute of play. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Clemente Tuñon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jorge Vicente Squella's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. When Clemente Tuñon came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the General Velásquez fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Clemente Tuñon couldn't finish the play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. General Velásquez fully deserved thier win.
