The Honduras fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After 6 played minutes Spartak das Kaldas got a freekick which was hit by Eduardo Palhares. Eduardo Palhares hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Sebastian Villa got a free kick in the 8th minute. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Sebastian Villa hit a great ball. After 13 minutes, Alexandre Pinho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Spartak das Kaldas and the Honduras players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 13th minute, Alexandre Pinho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 14th minute, Edmundo Espiga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pedro Meira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Lautaro Navarro made a huge save. Eduardo Palhares kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Lautaro Navarro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pedro Meira in the 20th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 21st minute of play forced Spartak das Kaldas's goalkeeper Juliano Brito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 24 played minutes Spartak das Kaldas got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Meira. Juliano Brito didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edmundo Espiga went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 28 minutes into the match, Spartak das Kaldas's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Villa came free, but Juliano Brito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 29 minutes had been played when some careless play by Spartak das Kaldas's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Edmundo Espiga was slow to take the kick. During this time Honduras's players had a chance to rest. Edmundo Espiga made a great header on Honduras's corner, it was just that Spartak das Kaldas's Juliano Brito managed to reach the ball for a save. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Meira in the 31st minute of play. In the 33rd minute Edmundo Espiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juliano Brito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Sebastian Villa came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Honduras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sebastian Villa couldn't finish the play. After 39th play minutes Milagros Cabal shot 0-3, a short shot which went by Juliano Brito and just under the crossbar into goal. After 43 minutes of play, Honduras's Edmundo Espiga made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Juliano Brito was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

Edmundo Espiga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Juliano Brito made a huge save. When Eduardo Palhares was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 55 minutes had been played. Alexandre Pinho got his second yellow card in the match during the 60th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, Spartak das Kaldas's Alexandre Pinho got a free kick in the 61st minute. Spartak das Kaldas's Juliano Brito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 67th minute of play. A hard shot 69 in the game by Edmundo Espiga from a close distance when the talented Juliano Brito managed to make a qualified save. Spartak das Kaldas's players were relieved. Juliano Brito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moises Tafalla in the 72nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Spartak das Kaldas's zone, Edmundo Espiga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juliano Brito came out of the goal and Edmundo Espiga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edmundo Espiga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Juliano Brito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Spartak das Kaldas's Juliano Brito got control of the ball when Sebastian Villa tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 87 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Luca Espinar. The supporters of Honduras booed when Spartak das Kaldas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Avelino Meireles didn't get a good kick on the ball. Juliano Brito was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Edmundo Espiga showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 91 minute of play. 95 minutes into the game, Edmundo Espiga cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Juliano Brito was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
