CJ Klose struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Pedro Manzanares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yrigoyen.F.C. After 19 played minutes Yrigoyen.F.C got a freekick which was hit by Horacio Theodore. In the 22nd minute Abram Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petr Školník saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yrigoyen.F.C's Sonny Lundström quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Luis Cazalla, made in the 24th minute of the game. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Colombia from getting a goal against them. CJ Klose scored 3-2 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Manzanares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Colombia's zone, CJ Klose stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal and CJ Klose tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. CJ Klose was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, CJ Klose notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of Colombia's Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 57 minutes into the match, Yrigoyen.F.C's CJ Klose sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Manzanares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 58 minutes into the game, CJ Klose cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-2. Pedro Manzanares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 64th match minute, Yrigoyen.F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valer Donose to maneuver through the defense. Pedro Manzanares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from CJ Klose went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-2 was the resulting score. Colombia made a substitution. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by CJ Klose in the 88th minute of play. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Yrigoyen.F.C's Diego Milito was substituted for CJ Klose. A sloppy throw-in by Luis Cazalla in the 93rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Yrigoyen.F.C's Jesus Niva. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diego Milito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yrigoyen.F.C were awarded a corner in the 96th minute after Colombia's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Aurelio Feliz took the corner. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Yrigoyen.F.C had won after a very even match.
