Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tomas Illescas took the kick off in the first half of the match. Marco Lixandro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Bernardino Santikurtz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. In the 13th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Lixandro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. MORPH's Marco Lixandro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 14th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gustavo-Hernán Bareiro in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 21st minute of play forced MORPH's goalkeeper Marco Lixandro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 24 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Illescas. 31 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Gustavo-Hernán Garnacho came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 35 minutes of play, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marco Lixandro was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Patricio Costa during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Patricio Costa hit a great ball. When Lino Hartz fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MORPH's protests and gave Lino Hartz a yellow card for diving instead. After 43 minutes of play Venezuela's Patricio Costa was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of MORPH booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gustavo-Hernán Bareiro to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jose Correa got a free kick in the 51st minute. In the 55th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Lixandro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. MORPH's Alfredo Madeo was substituted for Marcelo Estebano. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. MORPH's Marco Lixandro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save MORPH from getting a goal against them. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 78 minutes into the match, Gustavo-Hernán Bareiro notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 82nd minute of play forced MORPH's goalkeeper Marco Lixandro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 91 minutes into the game, Tomas Illescas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MORPH the free kick. Tomas Illescas kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Venezuela players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
