Axel Tasis was slow to take the kick. During this time Costa Rica's players had a chance to rest. Axel Tasis made a great header on Costa Rica's corner, it was just that FC Old Dogs United's Borimir Karadzhov managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 45th minute, Alexey Spahiyski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Axel Tasis was the one to do the kick off. If Eliseo Noboa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Old Dogs United's Alexey Spahiyski managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Hugo Ferrant in the 80 minute of the game. FC Old Dogs United's Borimir Karadzhov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save FC Old Dogs United from getting a goal against them. FC Old Dogs United's attentive Miroslav Palikarski managed to snatch the ball when Abel Carballo made a throw-in in the 85th minute of the game.
