Spectators: 49 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Costa Rica's Axel Tasis started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the game, Hugo Ferrant threw the ball into play from the sideline. C.S.D Punta Ballena's Brion Heyros quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 8 minutes into the match, Boguslaw Dziedelonis notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Aaron Alcocer hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Boguslaw Dziedelonis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boguslaw Dziedelonis in the 14th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 16 minutes, Boguslaw Dziedelonis made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 19 minutes of play, C.S.D Punta Ballena's Boguslaw Dziedelonis made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 21 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Eliseo Noboa. 23 minutes into the game, Boguslaw Dziedelonis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Benito Sanz didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when C.S.D Punta Ballena's Boguslaw Dziedelonis shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-7 in the ordered_time% minute. Boguslaw Dziedelonis took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-8. Boguslaw Dziedelonis might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benito Sanz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Boguslaw Dziedelonis ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boguslaw Dziedelonis in the 42nd minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alvino Blanco struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.S.D Punta Ballena. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-8 lead.

After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Boguslaw Dziedelonis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Boguslaw Dziedelonis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Boguslaw Dziedelonis struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.S.D Punta Ballena. Axel Tasis's late challenge caught a C.S.D Punta Ballena's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Axel Tasis helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of C.S.D Punta Ballena booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Axel Tasis didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 59th minute Boguslaw Dziedelonis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Boguslaw Dziedelonis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benito Sanz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boguslaw Dziedelonis in the 64th minute of play. Boguslaw Dziedelonis scored 0-9 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. C.S.D Punta Ballena's Manolo Agriano was substituted for Franz Hyld. In the 71st match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Efrain Moruga to maneuver through the defense. Benito Sanz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Terciero Francos showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-10 in the 72 minute of play. Efrain Moruga made in the 75th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Eliseo Noboa. In the 81st minute, Alvino Blanco made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-11. In the 84th minute, Terciero Francos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-12. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Terciero Francos in the 87th minute of play. Terciero Francos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 88th minute Terciero Francos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Alvino Blanco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 91 minutes into the match, Manolo Agriano notched a goal, 0-13, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 95 minutes into the match, C.S.D Punta Ballena's Terciero Francos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benito Sanz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. C.S.D Punta Ballena played a much better game than Costa Rica and deserved their victory. The Costa Rica players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
