Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Santiago Luken fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Venezuela's Tomas Illescas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Stig Wästerberg. That made the score 1-0 after 5 minutes of play. In the 10th minute Feliberto Iraitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patricio Costa in the 16th minute of play forced Pasion Tatengue's goalkeeper Stig Wästerberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Patricio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Stig Wästerberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 24th minute Lisandro Millan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Jose Correa fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Jose Correa a yellow card for diving instead. In the 26th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Feliberto Iraitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 27th play minutes Feliberto Iraitz shot 2-1, a short shot which went by Jonathan Ferrant and just under the crossbar into goal. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Feliberto Iraitz in the 31st minute of the match. In the 32nd minute, Sixto Horado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Feliberto Iraitz came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Pasion Tatengue fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Feliberto Iraitz couldn't finish the play. After 47 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Costa. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Tomas Illescas made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Santiago Luken. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arnoldo Jaizki in the 54th minute. In the 55th minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pasion Tatengue's Hadiman Effendy shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 57th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Jonathan Ferrant but with some difficulty. Lisandro Millan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. In the 62nd minute, Venezuela's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Santiago Luken fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Feliberto Iraitz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. After 71 minutes, Sixto Horado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pasion Tatengue and the Venezuela players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Pasion Tatengue was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sixto Horado didn't get a good kick on the ball. 76 minutes into the game, Alex Chicote was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pasion Tatengue the free kick. Alex Chicote kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 77th minute, when Pasion Tatengue's Sixto Horado after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Jonathan Ferrant in Venezuela's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. 81 minutes into the game, Feliberto Iraitz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. Feliberto Iraitz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. Lisandro Millan in the 88thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Sixto Horado made in the 93rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Arnoldo Jaizki. After 95 played minutes Pasion Tatengue got a freekick which was hit by Severiano Henrico.
