Jaime Pardo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Wilfried Plard made a huge save. 19 minutes into the match, MORCY Saint Germain's goalkeeper Wilfried Plard had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jaime Pardo. Jacobo Nores took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ruslan Malinovskiy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jaime Pardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Brendan Châtard came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the MORCY Saint Germain fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brendan Châtard couldn't finish the play. Wilfried Plard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime Pardo in the 47th minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ruslan Malinovskiy to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Ruslan Malinovskiy ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jacobo Nores was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Ruslan Malinovskiy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Jacobo Nores tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Jean-Philippe Mari came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the MORCY Saint Germain fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jean-Philippe Mari couldn't finish the play. Hakim Boireau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 79th minute, Hector Covarrubias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpected shot in the 87th minute by Jean-Philippe Mari got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Ruslan Malinovskiy blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jacobo Nores having to make a save. If Jean-Philippe Mari had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chants of MORCY Saint Germain echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Paraguay had held the ball for most of the match.
