Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Florentino Dominix started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 10th minute, Americo Guillen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 11 minutes into the match, Tomas Berganza notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Deportivo de Coba's Tomás Pepillo. Tomás Pepillo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Deportivo de Coba's Americo Guillen got a free kick in the 20th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Deportivo de Coba's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Miralles came free, but Tomás Pepillo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th minute, Florentino Dominix left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Deportivo de Coba fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After 34 minutes, Vicente Guerau mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Deportivo de Coba and the Panama players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Deportivo de Coba's Vicente Guerau got a free kick in the 35th minute. Tomás Pepillo came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Panama's Tomas Berganza. But to his dismay, Tomas Berganza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. 38 minutes into the match, Deportivo de Coba's goal looked a bit too open when Abraham Alguacil came free, but Tomás Pepillo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo de Coba's zone, Tomas Berganza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomás Pepillo came out of the goal and Tomas Berganza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 42nd minute Abraham Alguacil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomás Pepillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After 52 minutes, Donato Irrintzi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Deportivo de Coba and the Panama players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 53rd match minute, Deportivo de Coba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donato Irrintzi to maneuver through the defense. It was beautiful to see Panama's Abraham Alguacil in action when he in the 54th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Florentino Dominix fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Cotilla having to interfere. Abraham Alguacil's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 61stth minute, Tomás Pepillo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Abraham Alguacils short, quick shot in the 61stth minute got Tomás Pepillo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 64 minutes into the match, Deportivo de Coba's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Miralles came free, but Tomás Pepillo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Deportivo de Coba getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Americo Guillen hit a great ball. In the 80th minute, Jose Carita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 81st minute, Florentino Dominix ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcos Cotilla was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Florentino Dominix sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Florentino Dominix struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Marcos Cotilla didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deportivo de Coba. Tomás Pepillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidoro Sarmiento in the 91st minute of the match. After 93 played minutes Deportivo de Coba got a freekick which was hit by Norberto Giro. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Panama players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
