In the 20th minute, Avraam Chalkias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 22nd match minute, Curacao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kyle Davies to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Olympiacos FC booed when Curacao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rocco Owen didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 28th minute, Markos Kareklopoulos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Dimitris Koudas put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Bruno Barrett. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kyle Davies was the one to do the kick off. Curacao's Bruno Barrett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dimitris Koudas in the 52nd minute of play. After 58 played minutes Olympiacos FC got a freekick which was hit by Pavlos Fanidis. Olympiacos FC made a substitution. Kostas Tziolas replaced Alexis Dellios. In the 59th minute, Pavlos Fanidis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marshall Graham kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. The supporters of Curacao booed when Olympiacos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nikiforos Valaoras didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Bruno Barrett managed to avoid a goal in the 68thth minute, when Olympiacos FC's Dimitris Koudas fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 69 minutes into the match, Dimitris Koudas dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Bruno Barrett, 1-6. 74 minutes into the match, Curacao's goalkeeper Bruno Barrett had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dimitris Koudas. In the 75th minute, Panos Papathomas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Olympiacos FC's Pavlos Fanidis got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Avraam Chalkias got free with Bruno Barrett in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dimitris Koudass short, quick shot in the 84thth minute got Bruno Barrett to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Miltiadis Tsiranidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Panos Papathomas came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Olympiacos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Panos Papathomas couldn't finish the play. In the 89th minute of the match, Dimitris Koudas tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Bruno Barrett saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Avraam Chalkias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd minute, Harvey Doyle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bruno Barrett was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Dimitris Koudas showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-7 in the 93 minute of play.
