After 19 played minutes Bolivia got a freekick which was hit by Eduardo Fontirroig. Roman Chilov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Camilo Freixa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Camilo Freixa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miho Pogonchev in the 25th minute of the match. Camilo Freixa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Bolivia booed when Сакарско орехче was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dimcho Perchemliev didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anko Stoykovski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Bolivia's Camilo Freixa got control of the ball when Miho Pogonchev tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Miho Pogonchev made the kick off in the second half. Camilo Freixa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Miho Pogonchev's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Darin Mankov kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Bolivia's Eduardo Fontirroig got a free kick in the 64th minute. Julio Chicote kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Bolivia's Camilo Freixa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lyuboslav Vushkov in the 68th minute of play. Mario Fernandino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Alexey Profirov made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Miho Pogonchev's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Camilo Freixa was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. 88 minutes into the match, Bolivia's goal looked a bit too open when Miho Pogonchev came free, but Camilo Freixa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 89th match minute, Bolivia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eduardo Fontirroig to maneuver through the defense. Camilo Freixa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Miho Pogonchev's shot from short distance in the 94th minute.
