Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Valskog IF's Osvald Torstensson started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th match minute, Valskog IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jens-Ola Bivall to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Berganza in the 6th minute of play forced Valskog IF's goalkeeper Magne Lindström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Osvald Torstensson took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcos Cotilla. Marcos Cotilla dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. If Isidoro Sarmiento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Panama's Tomas Berganza in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Valskog IF's goalie prevented a goal. After 15 minutes Valskog IF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Abraham Alguacil who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to Panama's Alex Cambeiro getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 17th play minute Osvald Torstensson came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Marcos Cotilla. 2-0. The supporters of Panama booed when Valskog IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paul Strömqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Magne Lindström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 26th minute of play. After having played for 28 minutes, Osvald Torstensson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Valskog IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Osvald Torstensson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dylan Sarmiento hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. 32 minutes into the match, Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Osvald Torstensson. After 36 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Barrios. In the 37th minute, Elliott Lilja left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Valskog IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Magne Lindström came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Panama's Isidoro Sarmiento. But to his dismay, Isidoro Sarmiento quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Berganza made a kick off. Jens-Ola Bivall hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Valskog IF's Magne Lindström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abraham Alguacil in the 54th minute of play. In the 55th minute, Joakim Pihlblad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 58 played minutes Miguel Miralles rounded Valskog IF's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-2. Panama's Tomas Berganza got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Magne Lindström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 67th minute of play. Valskog IF's Magne Lindström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Valskog IF from getting a goal against them. In the 73rd minute, Tomas Berganza reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Magne Lindström. The goal made the score 3-3. When Tomas Berganza came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Panama fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Berganza couldn't finish the play. 85 minutes into the match, Valskog IF's goalkeeper Magne Lindström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abraham Alguacil. Dick Vallmark kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. After having played for 89 minutes, Abraham Alguacil managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Panama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abraham Alguacil was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Panama were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
