Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The mood of the audience was pleasant when William Westelinx made the kick off which started today's match. Rolando Noboa made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when William Westelinx sent off a good shot on target. In the 14thth minute of the game Luz Tejedor who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Ouagadougou National's Rene Vereijt was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 16 minutes into the game, Moises Gayoso threw the ball into play from the sideline. FC Ouagadougou National's Sean Westelinx quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Rolando Noboa made an important save on a dangerous shot by William Westelinx in the 18th minute. In the 27th minute Milagros Fraga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rene Vereijt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rene Vereijt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A throw-in in the 34th minute of the game was made by Emmanuel Reyes with Luz Tejedor as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rene Vereijt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. The audience was convinced that William Westelinx's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rolando Noboa was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. Peru were awarded a corner in the 46th minute after FC Ouagadougou National's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luz Tejedor took the corner. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

After 51 minutes of play, FC Ouagadougou National's William Westelinx made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rolando Noboa was left in no man's land by his defense there! 53 minutes into the game, Baba R. Hansen threw the ball into play from the sideline. Peru's Eliseo Mina quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. With a little luck, FC Ouagadougou National's Rene Vereijt got control of the ball when Julian Murillo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 60th minute William Westelinx shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. William Westelinx fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolando Noboa having to interfere. Eliseo Mina might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rene Vereijt. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eliseo Mina ran back to his position shaking his head. 70 minutes into the game, FC Ouagadougou National's William Westelinx nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rolando Noboa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Peru's zone, William Westelinx stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rolando Noboa came out of the goal and William Westelinx tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 77th match minute, Peru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emmanuel Reyes to maneuver through the defense. FC Ouagadougou National's Jedrzej Kiszkiel was substituted for William Westelinx. After 78 played minutes Peru got a freekick which was hit by Emmanuel Reyes. 84 minutes into the match, FC Ouagadougou National's goal looked a bit too open when Joaquin Prats came free, but Rene Vereijt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luz Tejedor in the 87th minute of play forced FC Ouagadougou National's goalkeeper Rene Vereijt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. In the 89th minute Peru were awarded a corner. Eliseo Mina went to the cornerflag to take it. For all the effort they put into the match, the Peru players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FC Ouagadougou National.
