With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cassius Byrne in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arif Ozan Oğuztan saved Arrecifes from getting behind. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Eufrasio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arrecifes were awarded a corner in the 12th minute after USA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Modesto Gipuzkoa took the corner. Arrecifes's Modesto Gipuzkoa was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Marco Day in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Marco Day showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Eufrasio, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. 15 minutes had been played when some careless play by USA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Modesto Gipuzkoa was slow to take the kick. During this time Arrecifes's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Arrecifes's Modesto Gipuzkoa to fire away a dangerous shot which Marco Day despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Arif Ozan Oğuztan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cassius Byrne in the 17th minute of the match. Arif Ozan Oğuztan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cassius Byrne, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. 22 minutes into the game, Carlos Eufrasio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Arrecifes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave USA the free kick. Carlos Eufrasio kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Marco Day tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 31st minute Cirilo Ritchie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 32nd minute of the match, Monty Rogers tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Arif Ozan Oğuztan saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Eufrasio in the 37th minute of play. 43 minutes had been played when some careless play by USA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Modesto Gipuzkoa was slow to take the kick. During this time Arrecifes's players had a chance to rest. Cassius Byrne came free with the goalkeeper in the 47th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Arif Ozan Oğuztan could save by the left post. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Cassius Byrne made the kick off in the second half. Marco Day made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Cirilo Ritchie sent off a good shot on target. USA's Marco Day proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save USA from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Monty Rogers in the 52nd minute of play forced Arrecifes's goalkeeper Arif Ozan Oğuztan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 54 minutes into the match, USA's goalkeeper Marco Day had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cirilo Ritchie. Modesto Gipuzkoa kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Arrecifes's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felipe Senon got free with Marco Day in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the referee ended the match the USA players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
