Axel Tasis was slow to take the kick. During this time Costa Rica's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Costa Rica's corner Aaron Alcocer fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Edward Nordin quite easily take care of the ball. Edward Nordin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Tasis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lautaro Puig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edward Nordin having to interfere. A hard shot 37 in the game by Axel Tasis from a close distance when the talented Edward Nordin managed to make a qualified save. Virtual Aces's players were relieved. The audience thought a goal was coming when Axel Tasis got free with Edward Nordin in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Axel Tasis's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 45thth minute, Edward Nordin skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Efrain Moruga might have been able to make a better finish in the 48th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edward Nordin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edward Nordin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Filip Sandström stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Axel Tasis in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edward Nordin saved Virtual Aces from getting behind. Edward Nordin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro Puig, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Axel Tasis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 65 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Alcocer. Edward Nordin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Puig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 72nd minute of the match Costa Rica got a corner. Virtual Aces's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Axel Tasis ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Costa Rica's Aaron Alcocer to fire away a dangerous shot which Edward Nordin despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alan Moruga during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Alan Moruga hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Lautaro Puig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edward Nordin having to interfere. 88 minutes into the game, Costa Rica's Juan Rubio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edward Nordin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. In the 93rd minute of the match Axel Tasis shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Edward Nordin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Costa Rica had played much better football throughout.
