The Honduras fans' excitement grew in the 75th match minute when Honduras's Edmundo Espiga looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-8 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Renato Braga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 86th minute of the match. Ronaldo Leão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Renato Braga stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edmundo Espiga's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. When the match was over Honduras could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Habilirows throughout the match.
