But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eduardo Fontirroig couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Mario Fernandino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bolivia's supporters rose to their feet, but Mario Fernandino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicolás Avila breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 23 minutes into the game, Benito Madrid was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bolivia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave San Isidro De Albatera CD the free kick. A collision led to Bolivia getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Benito Madrid hit a great ball. In the 25th minute, San Isidro De Albatera CD's Regis Pujol ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Camilo Freixa. Camilo Freixa yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Nicolás Avila took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredo Ferrant, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nicolás Avila showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eduardo Fontirroig, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Nicolás Avila showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eduardo Fontirroig in the 33rd minute of the match. After 35 minutes of play, San Isidro De Albatera CD's Cristobal Castaño made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Camilo Freixa was left in no man's land by his defense there! 38 minutes into the match, San Isidro De Albatera CD's goal looked a bit too open when Eduardo Fontirroig came free, but Nicolás Avila reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gizon Otero hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mario Fernandino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Julio Chicote kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, San Isidro De Albatera CD's Sabino Zapatero tried to score from far away in the 52nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The supporters of Bolivia booed when San Isidro De Albatera CD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rami Tobias didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ricardo Clos's late challenge caught a Bolivia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ricardo Clos helped the player get up and apologised. After 90 played minutes San Isidro De Albatera CD got a freekick which was hit by Rami Tobias. After a defensive mix-up in San Isidro De Albatera CD's zone, Julio Chicote stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicolás Avila came out of the goal and Julio Chicote tried to chip the ball over his head. Bolivia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristobal Castaño was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. In the 98th minute Eduardo Fontirroig shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolás Avila saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. San Isidro De Albatera CD had won after a very even match.
